Press Releases"March 2001"The AAA Automobile Club of Hartford published the following article
in their publication "Journeys" The first emergency roadside assistance contractor in the Automobile Club of Hartford’s new Preferred Service Provider (PSP) program is Westhill Automotive of Newington, owned and operated by Donald, Marylin and Mike Camillo and Laurie Gilbert. While the PSP status is new, Westhill’s affiliation with AAA is not. Westhill Automotive, 120 Willard Ave., has been a towing contractor for AAA since the 1960s. "Being affiliated with AAA is good for our business," Mike Camillo said. "AAA has a long history and like Westhill Automotive, AAA stands for quality service." Westhill’s reliability and reputation for quality made it a logical choice as the first facility in the program. AAA has twice honored Westhill Automotive for outstanding performance as a AAA contractor. The facility is currently being considered for acceptance into the AAA Approved Auto Repair (AAR) program. Westhill Automotive has 17 service vehicles and 14 wrecker drivers at its disposal to process West Hartford service territory calls. In addition to prioritizing AAA calls over any other motor club requests,
PSPs take part in a special customer service training program and its
drivers are required to meet uniform appearance standards. PSP vehicles
are painted in AAA’s traditional red, white and blue colors with
the AAA logo emblazoned across the hood. Look for more PSPs in the near
future. |
